Apple Terminating Music Downloads Within 2 Years!

This is a sensible decision when you consider that iTunes download revenue is expected to plummet 39% in the next 5 years.

Honestly, I couldn't be happier to see that beast finally die.

I like downloads. I don't like the idea of being tied to some streaming subscription where they can decide to arbitrarily pull my favourite album from their catalogue. Australia is still tied to ****ty internet speeds until the evil overlord Murdoch gives the government the ok to upgrade the network. That means buffering frustration for the next 5-10 years.

**** Obama on this. Let some convicted rapists and murderes roam free in the ****ing White House then. Or maybe if they're so pleasant he can move into prison and get to know them better. I don't know any poor people who say yeah we need more people with violent histories in our community. He talks the talk but I have to walk the walk - literally, in my own ****ing neighborhood. I'm totally the opposite on this. Mug an old lady, hell mug ANYONE and you should be executed ten minutes after sentencing. 16 year old assaults his 60 year old math teacher. Death penalty. Take out the trash don't dump it on the street in MY neighborhood.
