I just noticed how many times he has said slippery slope and was wondering why he didn't say it there.

EDIT: I guess I was wrong about how many times he said it. There are only 19 posts in the history of the forum with "slippery slope".

I never said anyone was right or wrong. I'm not even a part of this debate. You have seen in my posts that I write off anything presented as fact if it isn't backed up with valid references. If I were taking part in this argument I would have pointed out that she was not providing valid references. I'm sure I would have called her stupid just like everyone else. I only want you to understand that you cannot fairly moderate a debate that you are part of. If you try, you come across as nothing more than a bully.
Yeah I really don't care if I came across as being a bully. She was contributing nothing and annoying everyone hear and not shutting up and it was annoying.

Well I guess you should add "Not agreeing with sleepy jack is a banable offense" to the forum rules.

She was derailing the thread and being incredibly insulting.

Ownership is not the same as use and its highly illogical to argue that owning something potentially dangerous will necessarily lead to a dangerous outcome.

Although... I slightly disagree that having nuclear weapons isn't already an extreme situation.

Ever heard of mutually assured destruction? What do you think kept the USSR and US from fighting directly?
