A student did a rhetoric essay on legalizing marijuana for agricultural purposes and I realized just how many uses there are. Of course, most of the support for that seems to be the vegan, coffee-house hippies. If a vote came up for it, I would vote yes, but I'm not going to be starting petitions for it, I'm pretty indifferent.

Please elaborate. I want to know how potheads differ from people that dont irritate you. What about potheads irritate you?

Its really like booze, it depends on how it affects the person. Some people are happy drunks, some people are angry drunks. Some people are chill stoners, others are hella annoying.

To hacky sack, cheetos, sweat pants, Grateful Dead bootlegs and long conversations about how Smurfs reproduce. Not really much of a reason for illegalization.

I can sort of see where you are coming from even though I smoke weed about everyday (have been since junior high with the exception of a year or two off). I think that when most people think of pot smokers, they think of your typically lazy, uneducated, unmotivated stoner, or the tree-hugging hippie. I think that you are generalizing individuals who smoke marijuana based on one, maybe a few negative experiences. Also, what of all the musicians you dig? I have no doubt that some of them smoke marijuana. Are you going to discredit them as well because they smoke weed? You see where I'm going with this? I'm sure you have valid reasoning behind why you prefer to not socialize with potheads, but there are those of us out there who can handle our shit when we're stoned. Ultimately, though, I respect it as your opinion and personal preference - just had to drop in my 2 cents.

But yeah, I'll be at the laundry mat eating cheetos I got out of a vending machine while wearing a Pink Floyd t shirt. Easy to say a lot of people think I'm a stoner.
