Yep. Much of that 19th century eugenics claptrap descended from Malthus was melded with classical liberal ideas of the poor stuck being poor as being undesirable drains on society.

In Europe, white America, and Japan but at that point the damage is done. You go to Tokyo and people are saying there’s not enough people. Yeah ok now that the entire place is cemented over and every ecosystem is manufactured for human existence. It’s ****ing repulsive. And unsustainable even at half the population.
