what do feminists think of things like alimony i wonder??

saw a few states includin mine have been tryin to reform alimony laws which is fantastic! basically less money for undeservin and lazy ex wives lmao thats how i see it anyways.

realistically feminists should be against alimony i would think. but then again they usually arent realistic ppl and are quite selfish imo. so i can also see them supportin it from that viewpoint lol. is there a feminist rulebook or somethin that details everythin a 'real' feminist is supposed to support/hate/be offended by??

And what would make you think they would openly let you know of its existence or allow you to read it? They are more tight lip than the Freemasons are with their secrets. Its up to you to join your local feminist chapter, infiltrate their ranks, and find this book.

Dude I tried man. I brought a megaphone and tried being opprressed as fukc but it wasn't enough. When I didn't join in during the "kill the patriarchy" chants they got suspicious and after they found out I didn't have a tumblr my cover was blown

If a woman has a child and can't make it work with the father then yeah, she's gonna have to work but if you knock someone up you owe it to her to take care of the kid if you can. Contraceptives exist for a reason and if you don't wanna take the risk ****in use um. It's like you think all women are these predatory leeches that just want to take everything they can from men and feminists are their spooky dictatorial leaders.

Feminism isn't about being hateful and offended about everything. I don't see a reason to over-intellectualize something pretty straightforward: treat people with respect and be empathetic and supportive towards causes that are necessary. This applies not only to women but everyone.

A lot of people have these pre-concieved ideas of what feminism (and other movements) mean and learn to associate every feminist with these stereotypes or bad examples they've experienced in their own lives. I'm just gonna call you out on it and say you are one of those people.

I have no idea why I got the two confused, my bad that was pretty stupid of me but I stand by what I said. I'll just pull half a Rob Ford and blame it on the fact that I was drunk last night if that sits well with everybody.

Fair enough, I'm too lazy to bother thinking up the right word ride now. The first post I made isn't a response to what you said here specifically but moreover a general response to some of the other things I've read you post here. I'll admit that I may have instigated a few arguments here and there with you because of those posts and that was petty, I was trying to be more direct this time around.

I've admitted my faults, I wonder if you can do the same?

Nothin wrong with some banter. I onky responded with attitude cause of insults you've thrown my way so the irony had to be highlighted. Its par for the course with herms cliques. Predictable at this point

I brought up alimony cause of a video I watched about a guy who's remarried in florida who is still being financially crippled by his ex-wife 20 years later. I will post the video when I'm off work.

Alimony makes zero sense. I think it was probably more necessary yrs ago. After divorce a man's quality of life increases and a woman's decreases and its a large gap. Some if the reason cause women were far less skilled. Ya had mothers stayin at home for decades then gettin divorced and havin no skills or network or experience. While the man had all those things but now had one less person to provide for. So men had much more power.

The idea of permanent alimony was always a joke. Finally itsb getting reformed. So women cant divorce and be lazy bums... prob a factor of why women earn less than men. But with women workin more now alimony is even dumber. Of course feminists can spin it either way ti make themselves the victims
