Religious people: what is your level of observance?

There was a good point made about prayer serving a therapeutic purpose. If it makes someone feel better, then I'd say it's a good thing. Believe in god if you want, be an atheist if you want; one isnt more sane or logical than the other. God hasn't been undeniably disproven, and it hasn't been proven.

I think atheism has become somewhat of a trend. I know a lot of young people who haven't put any thought into this kind of thing, yet they just want to call themselves an atheist because it goes along with their desire to be a rebel and to go against the grain.

Being an atheist is a million times more sensible than believing in a God. To have no proof indicates which viewpoint to take, still believing despite that is a sign of insanity itself.

You'd have to define your idea of god.

An atheist has no definitive proof that says there isn't a god. You have proven your biased opinion.

Thinking there may possibly be something out there is fine. I don't believe in a God, but I think it is possible.

Believing in something without any proof is massively insane. Cripplingly destructive.

Religion isn't that deep of a subject. It's pretty cut and dry. Believe or not. God in any shape or form.

Also, I don't have to prove that the lack of proof proves that that I need more proof. Pretty crazy.
