Presidents are almost always defined by their predecessor in that they either draft off of him (GHWB after Reagan) or they run away from him (Carter following Reagan). Obama isn't sprinting away from Bush because he believes in a few things.

I'm sure most of you think we haven't really pulled out of Iraq even though we've got the same number of active military in Germany. No one thinks we're still "in Germany." But we have pulled out of both.

I'm sure you hate social conservatism, but Obama has always been a self-defined Christian. He isn't going to act on a Terri Schivo issue like Bush did.

Don't think because Obama isn't sprinting away from Bush that he's just Bush pt. 2.
