Many do enjoy it.

Did you even read my post before?

By assuming all women are forced to do certain things or are forced to be in the porn industry, you're taking away those that feel empowered by these same decisions.
Yes I did and I felt it was ridiculous that I was being told I couldn't have an opinion because I'm not a sex worker.

I'm not assuming all women, but there's certainly many. How am I taking away their reason to be empowered by introducing them to what experiences others have had?

Or straight people wanting credit for being "allies"
fuck allies dude, I don't give a fuck about straight ppl and they don't deserve credit for our issues

but like people who say they support sex workers, they just want a pat on the back and a thumbs up and people to applaud and say oh what a good person they are! how progressive! even though they tend to speak over actual sex workers.....

Vanilla, I've read a couple of those but first of all I just want to make it clear I'm not saying nobody suffers from it-far from it. I'm certainly not saying it's all glamorous or fun.

Nevertheless, is the porn industry to blame for one of these stars who were molested at the age of 4? Already an emotionally crippled drug addict by 17? She was ****ed up well before porn, through no fault of her own.

Another one claims to have invented drum and bass and jungle...?" through writing lyrics for my talented friends that produced a genre of electronica music called drum & bass and jungle" in 2005? (I'm pretty knackered right now so dunno if I got the right end of the stick there but wtf..

And then goes on to describe cocaine addictions, getting sacked for living the party life and finally resorting to porn-surely it was common sense to her the work would be tough, or emotionally degrading, or dangerous-hence the paycheck. That's generally how it works.

Another one "I was scared to death but had seen all the money! I finished my song...a few others took their turn and next thing I know they announced the winner and it was.....ME!!! The attention from men and the money were too good to pass up. But time would prove me wrong and I began to feel dirty and used by men."

Right, so she loved it and first, and then she hated it. How many people make a career choice, or follow a path and then realise they actually ****ing hate what they're doing? Millions. The only reasons billions don't is because not that many of us on the sweet green Earth have time to care about whether they enjoy what they do.

Also the website is ran by an ex porn star who is entirely marketing herself as an EX porn star. In general some pornstars have come out and slated it, some have come out and said it was ok, some have probably said they loved it. My limited experience of people involved in "the sex industry" is exactly the same. Some good, some bad, some alright. They aren't a distinct part of society where everything is horrific and abusive, just a more brutal and possibly honest reflection as a whole.

Sex workers need their own voice.

Just because you delete my post, doesn't mean you delete my voice.

Stop trying to censor me.

You're wrong.

Accept it, and don't delete my ****ing posts.

Seriously, just because you can google some articles or blog posts doesn't give you experience or erase ours. It's really not okay that our voices are being silenced over someone's personal feelings.

This is perfect.

Do you know how much I hate customer service because of my past experiences?
It's the same thing.
And it's really degrading.
You can't disagree with me UNLESS YOU'VE WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Who are you talking to? I didn't delete your post. You can believe it or not but I have absolutely no problem with you or your opinions.

I worked in customer service for at least six years or so. But I seriously can't see how on a deeper level you can really compare it to the degradation that some may feel working in the sex industry?
