i think the main effects in this thred so far have been young porn stars regretting their choices. BUT most 18 year olds make bad decisions. Most young ppl in general. So i dont know if there is really a proposed solution for that. id the US in particular is gonna draw the adult line at 18 then its obvious 18 yr olds will regret their choices later in life. maybe when they try to get married or somethin and it comes with resistance cause they took a 5 guy gangbang years ago. that sucks for them. but its THEIR choice. i am not arguin with you, just stationg more opinions. also i will never understand any female who gets mad their bf watches porn. i been doin that for 15 years why you tryin to make me stop somethin i enjoy

Nah I can say I get it. I tend to go in extremes where I couldn't care less or am massively jealous/possessive. It's been the former for most of the last few years, but thinking of girlfriend wanting men like that has made me feel like **** in the past and i've given it up for the same reason. Maybe that was youth and insecurity, but I tend to think you don't really need porn if you're getting the good stuff. Each to their own.

Yeah but when your partner isn't really in the mood or they just aren't available like they are out of town or something. Porn is needed. I also found it strange that I used to watch porn more when I was in a relationship then when I'm out of it.

Porn isn't even about your significant other "wanting" what they see it porn, it's just a method to get off. If they really wanted the type of guys they see in pornos then they wouldn't be with you in the first place so I don't see what there is to be insecure about.

I don't see a problem with one person in a relationship watching porn. However, if they start preferring porn over sex with their partner, then there is a problem. Not with the porn itself but rather with the person's mind. When you become so addicted to watching it that you no longer feel a need for actual sex. That's how porn negatively affects relationships and even your own sexuality.

Research has indicated that men who view pornography do treat their partners' bodies more critically after the fact, and that it can decrease the amount of sex between partners overall (Albright, Sex in America Online, 2008).

Men treat their partner's body critically without porn too the longer that they are with them. I don't have a study for that it's just from personal experience with stories I've heard from my friends. I could probably find a study to support it though.

So for me, those two things are conflicting. Men judge women by their bodies, it's fact. If they wanted the guys they wanted in pornos, they might still want them over their man, but they just can't get them due to physical or psychological reasons. I bet there are plenty of men that would switch their "not so serious" partners for pornstars any day of the week, so why not the same for the females?

Again, I think if the relationship is going alright then "going away" isn't that big a deal but again people are different. Home made porn should mean that it isn't "needed" but meh.
