I definitely think there is a negative effect of watching excessive amounts of porn. There was a time when I was masturbating 5 times a day to porn and then when it came time to have sex with my girlfriend it was either A. Difficult or B. Set unrealistic expectations.

For A. After masturbating 5 times in a day for about six months straight, even in my late teens, it was still difficult to obtain an erection. I think this is just the human anatomy. Like the OP said the porn stars make it look easy because they are using prescriptions/chemical injections to maintain erections all day.

For B. Although its fun to watch porn and pretend that every girl wants a dick in their ass and then to taste their own ass it is just a fantasy. I started watching porn around 13 and it gave me the impression that everything I saw in a porno, SHOULD be expected of a woman. Which of course is the not the case anymore in my mid twenties but you can see my point of where you're EXPECTING a girl to do the things you see in a porno, it leads to disappointment/frustration/less satisfaction.

Although I think porn is beneficial because all people need pleasure and I think you'd have to ban sports/alcohol/entertainment all in one. Just needs to be done in modification.

As far as female porn stars, it's tough to feel sorry for too many of them. They make great money and a lot of them have chose that profession. A girl I went to high school with who had every opportunity in the world CHOSE to enter that field and has nothing but good things to say about it. I feel like a lot of times only the negatives come out. However, I would imagine that having sex with that many people without any sort of relationship or emotional connection must be taxing on a person and make it difficult to be close to someone in the real world.
