Women are stupid, brainless rape holes, so naturally they'd be more inclined to vote for a smooth talking blackro-american twice. ROMNEY 2012 and BEYOND.

lulz,

Quote:

President Obama is no doubt counting on his margin among single women — a Quinnipiac University poll shows him at 60 percent — to offset Mr. Romney's smaller lead among married women, which is at about 7 percent. Women may very well decide this election; there are more women voters, and they are more likely to go to the polls.
women's preferences, single vs. married

Why does it break down like this? I'd suggest:

-single women tend to receive more from the government
-married women tend to be in a higher income bracket

So much for a war against women....

LOL yeah, I mean it's not like Romney thinks that rapists should have parental rights, or Republicans deny that even pregnancy can happen from rape (we are ducks apparently), freely call us sluts for wanting birth control covered, even though erectile dysfunction meds are covered w/o question. I take birth control because I have large clumps of my uterine lining drop out of me if I don't. But yeah, you're right, there's no war on us. Republicans don't really believe that life begins before our menstrual cycles are even done. Women aren't really prosecuted for trying to commit suicide while pregnant because the fetus was considered more than the woman's mental and physical health. Republicans don't really want to force us into unnecessary, invasive medical procedures to obtain abortions. It's not like one of my own state representatives was banned from speaking in the house for using the word VAGINA in reference to a WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUE. They totally didn't have an all male panel deciding on contraceptive mandates, did they? Republicans haven't tried to redefine what rape really is, I must be delusional right?

welp, let's break this down:
1) Opposition to abortion is not limited to Republicans; see Sen. Nelson of Nebraska, recall the worries of blue dog Democrats that Obamacare would be used to fund abortion.
2) Rape is being redefined constantly; see the recent bill which California passed which made it so even if a woman consents to allowing someone have sex with them before going to sleep, it is now rape. Yet another example would be the feminist adrea dworkin who opined all sex is rape because of the class structure.
3) More men are raped in the U.S. than women annually, so I hardly see how discussions of redefining rape just effects women.
4) Because viagra is (generally) covered does not mean insurance should be forced to cover birth control for women.

Small point from an non-American (get back to England! I'm not FROM England, I'm from Ireland! Yeah well, same difference!) but is it not time your constitution was amended where it says "All MEN are created equal"? Or would that be too big a threat to the male-dominated Senate, House and White House?

Just wonderin', is all. Times have changed; can yiz not just get two extra words slotted into that there constee-too-shun?

Where the hell did you get 3 from? Who exactly is raping all these men? And how does that justify whether rape is "legitimate" with a woman or not? Oh let's bring in the "crazy feminists" to refute the legitimacy of what is rape. Did you not hear Dayna - an ALL MALE panel deciding on rape definition and whether contraception should be funded.

Do you know that 1/10 women have Endometriosis? Do you realize that without contraception (particular for women who can't afford it) they suffer excruciating pain and heavy periods which affects their ability to attend school or work? I would know because funnily enough I have Endometriosis and it cost me my last job.

This thread is about Romney & Obama; the relevance of a canidate for office in Missouri is... what?

Sorry, having an all male panel is bad because....?

That sucks, but it doesn't mean (1) the Government should pay for it, (2) all insurance should be forced to cover birth control.

Ha! First sentence:

The figures on rape may be uncertain
It's the media reporting it so that also reduces reliability.

Next I see:
Quote:

Those numbers are not quite correct, but they are nonetheless horrifying. First of all, "sexual assault" is not always the same as "rape" and includes a variety of behaviour that wouldn't meet the legal standard for rape. So it's not clear that there are actually more rapes of men than women.
So there you have it. Great article. Next!

Oh and did you realize a majority of rapes go unreported? So there will never be accurate figures or a way to tell whether men or women are raped more. Not that it's relevant, rape is horrible for both sexes.

What? It's still relevant as voters to discuss women's right for contraception.

See below. Men don't know what periods are like so at least a 50:50 with women would be better.

Being a man I know you wouldn't get it. If you were to experience a painful and mood altering period you would be the first to complain.
