Well, I'm pretty sure that my family only came to America about a hundred or so years ago. I definitely don't consider myself Irish by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm still only a few generations removed, so any Irish cultural influences aren't gonna be completely gone.

I understand but I am speaking about the country Puerto Rico itself. It can't be a US state because most (like 93 percent) don't know one English word. I mean I don't mind this becoming a 51st state but as I said, many Americans especially Right wing ones will be upset.

Do not forget New York is one of the most diverse states that America has faced. Many whites, Many jews, Many Africans, Many blacks, Many hispanics, Many Asians all together. It is one unique diverse state.

They have also reduced crime quite a bit. I heard in the 70's and 80's New York was really rough.
