It was the same police scanner I posted in the thread, I was listening to it as it happened.

And the 'burn the guy down' part was caught by a cameraman at the scene I believe

From what I could gather they said were gonna use the burner just like we discussed. I don't recall any cameraman capturing the Burn the guy down thing you're referring to. Strange thing is no SB SHERIFFS had the Burners as they don't facillitate those, only LAPD had the Burners. I'm sure they had it out for him certainly.

Either way i'm hoping KH wasn't offended by my comments, I like his input on music and such. I just always come to the defense of Law Enforcement in general as several people in my family are involved in law enforcement and military. Its a tough job to do and there are times where you have to make a call no matter the outcome. I'm just thankful that this is all behind us and nobody else is gonna be harmed.

Due process shouldn't be thrown out the window just because you disagree with the guy's actions.
The dude shot a ****ing police officer. He shot...a ****ing...cop. The chance of him not dying was miniture. If he din't kill anybody and was just a loony on the loose I'd be backing the call for due process. But...

A shot...a ****ing...police officer.

What difference does a police officer make to a normal civilian? Murder is damn murder.

Which is why they shot him, he murdered 4 people and wounded others. A civilian should be treated no differently then a police officer when he murders people. So by that logic shooting/burning/murdering him was due process.

I posted the video where the camera catches the audio of the guy shouting, it was live on the news for everyone to hear.

But yeah, I don't see much point in debating this.

Like Fetcher said, murder is murder.

Also, I think the LAPD opening fire on two innocent civilian vehicles is both very telling of the way they were pursuing this case (they weren't taking him alive), and got to the heart of teh corruption that Dorner was talking about. Ironic.

There are actually people out there that think Dorner was justified in his actions?

Probably. If you think I'm one of them, then you haven't been reading my posts correctly.

I was just sorta scanning through. Someone said something about Dorner being the good guy. Another forum had a whole thread about it, but I didn't go in there because I didn't want to get caught in an internet "debate" at work.

It just had never crossed my mind that someone could actually come to a point, morally and ethically, to see the killing of innocent people for ANY cause to be justified.

Ah sh*t. I just remembered the Iraq war.
And the current drone strikes.

Damn. Ok. Let me amend. I didn't think regular internet people would...

Ok that doesn't work either. It's internet people.
Nevermind. Just cross this whole post out of your mind.
