And they found the body of a baby recently too :/ I've driven through that area a lot (in fact I'll be passing by Saturday.) Shit's fucking terrifying.

All of the majestic snowcapped mountain peaks of the Pacific Northwest are volcanos, Rainier is the largest but also not terribly active. It could start rumbling tomorrow but it's much much more likely to not happen hundreds or even thousands of years from now,
