Yeah, pretty much. It's an oversimplification for sure. You can govern a nation in a million ways, so it's not just a question of "how much". I feel like people are a bit too willing to reduce everything down to a binary. Not on this forum - just in general when you see people talk about politics, ethics or morals.

Whenever I say people need to be more accountable for themselves I get looked down on.. but you can say it about the establishment and it's okay. This seems unfair.

If everyone was accountable and held others accountable we'd hardly need a government. :D
