i'll go along with ya on some things, like obviously the N word holds more weight than cracker or honkey or whatever. i do recognize the differences int he past of races in this coutnry so i get why the sensitivity levels are different but there is also a portion of ppl who like to exaggerate and use that racial sensitivity to their advantage cause they know that a lot of whites feel some sort of weird guilt when it comes to race issues

im not uncomfortable around a black guy. the guy in a 4XL white tshirt and baggy jeans wearin a sideways cap and fake gold chains speakin in broken english wayyy too loudly is the guy im not comfortable around

Is this intentional irony or unintentional irony?

The self-fulfilling prophecy is one of the most significant concepts in social psychology. It is the tendency for people who hold stereotypical or prejudiced beliefs about others to behave in such a way as to cause the other party to confirm their expectations.

This phenomenon is found literally across the ethnic/SES board and has been replicated in dozens of different ways. Your beliefs influence your behaviour, and your behaviour influences the behaviour of the person you hold those beliefs about; and all of this occurs without anyone's awareness of it.

So if a particular kind of person makes you uncomfortable, your discomfort with them can cause them to behave in ways that make you more uncomfortable.

i can buy into that. but i dont believe anyone should feel guilty about feelin some type of way around certain ppl. its like mark cuban somewhat controversally just said in responde to the whole Donald sterling thing. we all have our prejudices. theres certain lookin ppl i will walk across the street to avoid and it has nothin to do with skin color, its about their presentation. id rather error on the side of someone falsely believin im racist or somethin than error on the side of gettin mugged or harassed

I don't need to take a quiz to know that being a White Male in America is the best possible position one can be in. The possibilities are basically unlimited.

i got mad priv, privilege to know how to not be stupid with money, how to not work a ****ty job, how to not hang on to meaningless relationships, to realize that life is easy as **** if you want it to be and a whole lot of hassle if you don't. humans are supposed to be greedy, exploitative, manipulative and hateful towards one another. when has it ever been a different way?

I'm a Jewish Muslim living in the UK, with a limp, a lisp, a hunchback, yellow teeth and terrible breath. The world's my oyster.
