It's interesting in a thread about the stigma against atheists to see the persecution of Christians in certain Muslim countries brought up, since those very same countries persecute atheists as well.

The Syrian Christians been practicing their religion for nearly two thousand years, I highly doubt recognizing the fact they were being persecuted as using a victim card or pushing an agenda.
When some Fox News anchor writes a book about the "War On Christmas" I highly doubt he's thinking about Christians in the Middle-East. I think he's just being a whiny ****.

That is a wrap perception of what happened. He was looking for persecution but didn't complain about when it happen it either. And Christians don't look to be killed or mocked, but happens. Same with atheist since this is an atheist thread.

Nobody is talking about Syria. You're the only one talking about Syria. Stop talking about Syria, cause it's irrelevant to the conversation.

American news is kind of hilarious and depressing at the same time.

Canadian news is too, though, to a lesser extent.

There is no such thing as American news anymore. There's a ton of American Partisan Commentary shows though.
