Nope, online, Perez Hilton called her one during 2007-2010. He's a sack of shit tbh.

When you said you knew a girl, I thought it was someone you knew personally.

Perez is a dirtbag. I don't go to his site because he likes to steal content and also all the other shit he's done too.

I know, I purposely mislead. Yip I agree, he's a bully, he makes money out of being an ******* and of course steals stories from TMZ.

I once watched a medical show about fixing that.

I think it's bull**** that women can get all these modifications and guys are stuck just flopping around.

Carpe Mortem 08-06-2014 08:49 PM

I think it's sad that people wanna modify their bodies in general. Don't get me wrong, my mom's fake boobs, botox, and lip injections have made her a major hottie at forty-something, but I think she'd be hot anyways. Body modification just makes people look more 'polished', not necessarily that much better.

DwnWthVwls 08-06-2014 10:16 PM

I have to support body modification as a whole even though there are some aspects about it I do not appreciate. Not a big fan of the things you mentioned but I love piercings/tats.

I think it should be done because that's how you want to look and not to change how others view you. However, your body, your life, do with it as you please.

The Batlord 08-07-2014 01:31 AM

Oh flap jacks are your ass? I thought they referred to your tits.

RoxyRollah 08-07-2014 02:09 AM

No! My tits are fine thank you!

The Batlord 08-07-2014 02:52 AM

You're welcome.

Guy is hot and you find him attractive: "thank you" *winkie face*
Guy is ugly/not your type/etc: "get away loser/creep/weirdo".

Thoughts? Are there times when a compliment/catcall can be an innocent compliment without offending you(regardless of attraction level)?

I honestly don't see this happen as often as it seems to be implied to happen.

DwnWthVwls 08-08-2014 09:28 PM

For clarity: I think it's more with younger women and generally the ones who crave the attention.

As a college student and someone employed where the above is the majority of the female population, it's not uncommon at all.

The point of the question was to generate discussion because as you admit it does exist. The extent of it's existence is irrelevant to the conversation.

I imagine both incidents involve similar levels of douchiness, but if a girl unloads on me like that I'm going to be annoyed or at most pissed. Aside from that I'll just go about my day, possibly stewing in hurt pride and resentment, but otherwise unscathed. Catcalling has the potential to cause actual fear for one's safety. I'm not saying any guy who gives a boorish holler to a buxom damsel needs to be checked before he is wrecked, but it's still flirting with rape culture, even just a tad, so it's far more in need of careful consideration than just some innocuous douchebaggery. Personally I'm not going to say something random and unnuanced like that to a woman I've never met, anymore, even if only because such a difficult and delicate operation as hitting on a complete stranger would require much more skill and finesse than a "Hey, baby! You ever had your ******* licked by a fat man in an overcoat?!" I mean, come on fat guy in a construction hat, do you honestly think you're getting those digits with that?

RoxyRollah 08-09-2014 05:22 AM

Are you just implying that I'd except being sexually harrassed if my harrasser was cute?

djchameleon 08-09-2014 05:31 AM

this video has been making the rounds.

The only thing that I hate about it is the fake accent thing they are using. It is almost implying that only minorities and construction workers do this.

It is like they have never been to a college town or a place with a military base.

RoxyRollah 08-09-2014 05:34 AM

Its true, I hate a construction worker......

djchameleon 08-09-2014 05:36 AM

just one construction worker in particular?

RoxyRollah 08-09-2014 05:47 AM

Just one yes! ;p

No, I'm implying that our attraction level to someone can have an influence on how we react to them. Also, it was more of a broad generalization. Idk you or any other woman on this forum well enough to even consider pointing the finger like that.

You can apply the scenario I posted with guys as well except rather than calling a chick a weirdo/creep etc, they will just make fun of her with their friends, and tear apart the qualities they do not like.

RoxyRollah 08-09-2014 06:10 AM

This is true to a degree. But I have met a many a cute man, that gives me the creeps..

Stupid. I do that too, it's more of a trait for type-b personalities than women.

More like soulless corporate douchebags co-opting feminism to sell hair products.

Sparky 08-15-2014 10:09 PM

Pretty good marketing maybe?

Certainly more reaction than the standard commercial. Could supposedly make the focus audience women question themselves, something all beauty commercials would hope for I'm guessing.

Interesting discussion. To a certain extent, I agree 'DWV' that if one finds somebody attractive SOMETIMES the person getting their ass pinched won't mind at all. As crazy as it sounds, some people have created relationships from a first "pinch", so to speak. Both genders, by the way. Of course, I'm talking about places such as a bar/nightclub where people "mingle", NOT at public transportation sites like the lame videos above show. The woman who was the beauty pageant recipient specifically was assaulted, plain and simple, no excuses. Different scenario in my opinion. However, I understand the point being made. It's important dialogue, and something that should continue to be addressed. Very candid and candor comments everybody.

Haha! I met my boyfriend thanks to an ass pinch in which neither of us were directly involved.
