African American is far less PC than "black" in my opinion.

Also not all black people are from Africa.. I always use black, I don't know any black people who I've ever offended.

You know what I've never understood.. Why can't we call Russians Asian? They're from freakin Asia.

they're really not. the core of the population has always existed in the western part of the country and shares more in common with european cultures in general than they do with any asiatic cultures.

Actual the Ural mountains divides Europe from Asia. Though I've seen some describe it as one continent, Euro-Asia. Russia is on both sides of the mountain range.
