I know I'm always right, but you might want to fact check me on this because I'm a little hazy on it myself.

Apparently in NC you can vote in both primaries if you're not registered with any party, but if you are, you can only vote in that party's primary.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 12:21 AM

cool... i don't think i'm registered

Do you mean in general or under a specific party? Because if you're not registered to vote then, well you cannot vote.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 09:26 AM

i don't think i'm registered in general

so i could just register and not put a party

Ja, register as an independent (not the Independent Party though).

Chula Vista 06-30-2015 09:41 AM

Trump's already stepping in it.

NBCUniversal cuts ties with Donald Trump - Jun. 29, 2015

What an idiot.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 12:21 PM

lol... he's not an idiot... he's not going for the hispanic/liberal vote

he's saying what a good portion of ignorant white people in the country think. he's almost certainly smarter than you, chula, so you don't do yourself any favors by calling him an idiot.

He's an idiot for ignoring their vote. He's gonna get smashed in the debates for those remarks.

And I love our little dance.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 12:44 PM

trump is going to crush in the debates. the guy is very quick on his feet. he can take literally any loaded question and turn it around and answer it/not answer it in a way that sounds good. he's not dumb enough to get caught like a deer in the headlights like some of your favorite conservative whipping boys. he's a fast talking wall street shark with a sort of east coast mafioso swagger and an endless supply of confidence. basically he's the perfect politician. i'd like to see him debate hillary, he'll trump the **** out of that boring pro-establishment black-hole of a tv personality mullet wearing twat.    TRUMP

You're really funny. Did Hillary turn you down for a date or something?

Frownland 06-30-2015 01:23 PM

Are we really criticizing somebody's hair? In a thread about Donald Trump?

Yes I saw that, he just lost the Hispanic vote, I suppose the media will have a field day with him now.

Despite that, if I was a Republican I would still support him because he's a better option than Bush. Basically it comes down to trade policy.

You guys have been getting hollowed out for the last 35 years, if you keep it up Canada is going to go broke, because no one in the US will have any money to buy products, except for the upper class of course.

no she's just one of those unlovable tv personalities. i don't know what it is about her... she just radiates fakeness. she seems like an android doing their best impression of a human female politician.

the real question is... how can you not hate her?????

Xurtio 06-30-2015 03:36 PM

Agree with JWB. Love the picture this mudslinger used for the Atlantic:

It's like she's Palpatine's mother.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 05:40 PM

i love how you refuse to say anything negative about her
it's like she's the queen ant and you're just one of her loyal drones

donald >>> that unlovable fembot

DwnWthVwls 06-30-2015 05:42 PM

I lost interest when she said "this lord's day". Silly christian.

Frownland 06-30-2015 05:44 PM

It would suck to have a Christian president tbh. I don't know if America is ready for it.

It's that whole lesser of evils thing dude. Why can't you grasp it?

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 06:12 PM

so because she's the lesser of two evils you can't say a word against her?

Xurtio 06-30-2015 06:15 PM

Trump's candidacy is, of course, a joke. But I feel like Clinton's is actually a serious threat to the disenfranchised around the world.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 06:19 PM

trump's not a joke... he's 2nd in the polls... he's a professional talker... he's better than anything the gop has to offer in terms of personality

hillary is what the dems will compromise for... she's the female mitt romney

but honestly... trump vs sanders... i vote sanders
trump vs hillary..... i vote trump

Xurtio 06-30-2015 06:27 PM

My intuition doubts the veracity of the poll results. Trump presidency would be ****ing hilarious though. Clinton presidency is a little frightening.

Yeah, Sanders obviously hits every point we want to hear as plebs. I will probably support Sanders to the end, whether a win is practical or not, just to support his ideas and cause. Like that stupid ****ing knight in fantasy movies that swears loyalty to the one true king and won't be pragmatic about it even when that king doesn't stand a chance.

So are you going to shoot Bush or something because I think that we're going to be experiencing deja vu as far as Trump running for president goes.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 07:18 PM

bush is a joke... trump already sonned him @ 4:00

Xurtio 06-30-2015 07:18 PM

MSNBC not required, just listen to his speeches....

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 07:22 PM

that was aimed @ hillary's lapdog chula

DwnWthVwls 06-30-2015 07:24 PM

You're right. Disagreeing with the competition in front of a crowd of your fans is a surefire way to win the nom. Why didn't he try this daring tactic in 2012?

I can see why his use of the strawman argument really spoke to you though.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 07:27 PM

yea he called him out on his "i'm one of you" pandering bull****. definite sonnage.

he didn't actually run in 2012...

and its not a strawman, it was an accurate observation... wake the **** up... every single candidate speech is completely orchestrated, right down to the wardrobe

I was referring to the part about Common Core. The tie bit was just petty, that's nothing new.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 07:32 PM

nah he sonned him with the tie bit

Well that makes him a shooin for the nomination. Point goes to you.

John Wilkes Booth 06-30-2015 07:34 PM

also... side note... yea he'll use fallacies... yea he'll BS... and that doesn't really matter because that's a useful skill for a politician to have
