Needed to win nomination: 2,383
Hillary Clinton: 502 (includes 451 superdelegates)Bernie Sanders: 70 (includes 19 superdelegates)Not yet allocated: 4,193

I know I sound like a broken record here, but the superdelegates (who do not have any obligation to the voters) will not allow Sanders to win. When you watch the news you may be under the impression that the voters have the power to elect Sanders as the Democratic candidate. They don't. Instead of reporting on this like it's a basketball game they might want to explain how it actually works from time to time.

the superdelegates are technically not decided yet. They have pledged to Clinton, but they still have a chance to change their vote and many do when the public vote has a clear choice.

Quote:
The silver lining to all this is that the superdelegates’ pledge to Clinton is not finalized, and each one can still change their vote prior to the final vote following the last state primaries. Typically, superdelegates vote in line with the popular vote when the time comes, but there is nothing requiring them to do so.

The thing about a libertarian president is that the majority of so-called "libertarians" are really just fiscally conservative republicans who are more concerned with the economy than gay marriage. But they're still socially conservative republicans who could give a **** about the whole "personal liberty" thing that should be the backbone of any real libertarian's political beliefs.

They might not be actively opposed to gay marriage, but they certainly don't particularly support it either, or legalization of marijuana, or any kind of civil rights, or even America's military escapades. They'll vote in anyone who isn't a liberal just like any other republican, and won't shed a single tear when those politicians denounce same-sex marriage.

TL;DR - Most libertarians are ****ing hypocrites and the movement is a joke.

Clinton 3 Sanders 1

Looks like Clinton will have the nomination pretty much wrapped up by Super Tuesday.

Clinton 594 Delegates 457 Superdelegates

Sanders 405 Delegates 23 Superdelegates

I don't care what source, Snopes, the NYTimes whoever that say the superdelegates will align themselves with the voters. They AREN'T. Just check the numbers.

They pledged before voters weighed in. They don't get to change their vote until the end of primaries.

It may well be Trump and Hilary in November. But nothing was decided yesterday, least of all by Hilary.

Then why not count them all including the states that haven't voted?

If the superdelegates are already pledged even for the states that haven't voted we should already know how many superdelegates they're both getting whether the state has had their primary or not. So where's that data? And since they already pledged before the primaries started I guess O'Malley's still getting whatever his cut is even though he's not even running. So how many is he getting?
