Lol, you may love me less if I end up taking the side of the multi nationalists.

Although I sympathize with the Boris Johnson, Douglas Murray crowd, I think Brexit is a bad move.

Listen, more countries wanna leave.....

djchameleon 06-25-2016 04:33 AM

So is it true that it's going to take them two whole years to actually leave?

RoxyRollah 06-25-2016 04:36 AM

Beg your pardon?

djchameleon 06-25-2016 04:43 AM

I have to research it but I'm hearing that the whole legal process or whatever is associated with leaving the EU will take two fucking years. If that's true, I feel like it might take even longer than two years.

RoxyRollah 06-25-2016 04:46 AM

Never heard that. Because if the people want it bad enough it will happen.

Ah "the sins of the voter", more like the sins of uninformed, uneducated voters. Majority of voters are that way also but this one will be felt for ages. Good job! The google search results for UK residents spiked asking "What is the EU?" So essentially, they ended up voting for something they have no idea about. They just want them damn dirty Muslims out of the county. I don't know why people are trying to sugar coat it. Call a spade a spade, they are ****ing racists.

After all, international finance whizzes round the world between 3 major centers; New York, London, Tokyo. Why should that change?

Why should that change? It will change. London is going bye bye as far as being a major financial center. Companies will want to pull out and not do business anymore there. If you look at the map of the voters. Most of the people that were voting in London were for the UK staying in the EU. I wonder why? Ask yourself why and you'll come up with the answer.

This has nothing to do with what the people want. The people voted and that means they will work to leave the EU but it doesn't happen overnight is what I'm saying. Just because the people voted doesn't mean voila they are no longer part of the EU. They have to go through the process of extracting themselves legally.

It depends. The EU wants to get this started as soon as possible. I guess Germany already had a plan if the UK decided to leave because they do not want the UK cherrypicking privelages that you get when you are members of the EU. And they want to make an example of the UK so no others get any fancy ideas of leaving :). Although there is supposedly some petition for a revote that has been signed by over 1 million brits.

Quite honestly, I am really tempted to take a trip to England atm. Dead cheap to go there right now. My husband and his family have already started buying stuff from the English websites since the pound is so low at the moment.

Has anyone seen this:

Girlfriend explains why she voted out of the EU

Bit funny.

Actually it will. Why would the EU want their financial center to be in London. Especially Germany. Frankfurt is also a major financial center.

Wow Dre. Thats the most uneducated thing Ive ever heard anyone say so 51% of the UK is racist because they want their right to govern themselves....
