Yeah or a leadership contest for the Tory party but she won it by 19 votes so there won't be an election right now.
I would not rule out an election later this year though. |
Here's a very convincing pro-Remain speech from a week ago ( and a photo of the 2011 Tottenham riots that he refs at the start) :-

^ Just noticed that you are from Wales, K Addict! Perhaps you recognise the Cardiff Bay building I just posted in the Architecture thread.
Well, that's you, me and Fluff all pretty keen to see a second referendum. Maybe it will become a reality, and before voting people will reflect on what the last two years of negotiating have shown us. American journalist Fareed Zakaria has some interesting points to make:- |

Re a 2nd Ref I find it hard to see any other viable way out the Brexit mess. The impasse was bound to happen when Mayhem set her red lines on stopping freedom of movement to satisfy the Brexit Ultras. These red lines then collided with the Good Friday Agreement (no harder border/invisible border between NI and ROI). Quote:

I'm new to this site, and thus I'm new to this thread—so I might be missing a lot, but here goes—and I'll stick around to read more.
1. Brexit might be a good thing insofar as it might shut-up the Euro-whiners. They wanted it. They got it. Now they must deal with it. Good luck with the bilateral talks with EU, USA (i.e. Trump), Russia (i.e. Putin), and China (i.e. Xi). 2. Blacks and Muslims will still immigrate—unless the alt-rightist bugger up the British economy even more to make it less desirable. 3. Gotta hand it to Theresa May: she a survivour. I see her still being PM past March. If she goes, the Tories go. 4. It might lead to reforms in EU. Cute videos K Addict. :D |
