Bill Burr brings up a lot of great points in this interview because he's the ****ing man, especially at around 3:25 when he makes the sky is falling statement. The part about social media towards the end is so damn relevant too, with artificial outrage driving media trends. I think that both the left and the right are strawmanned based off of marketing tactics, reactionary outrage, drunk dumbasses, and legitimately ****ed in the head people so easily because of how these things seep into the media we consume and the ways that we tend to consume media. There's most definitely a predisposition to media that projects that your side is right and the other is absolutely stupid.

That's the thing about facts and statistics. You can bring them up and be 1000% right, but that doesn't keep you from politicizing/sensationalizing/pandering to mislead those facts for your own agenda or against one that's threatening your own. The numbers of the "PC culture" reflect this drama queen reaction to the abrasive voices of the minority. Context has died in the digital age.
