I'll let it be regardless if I disagree with your overall look on this since I feel this will result in us going in circles.

This is a fun thread.

But what I get, speaking for myself and how I feel, is that people are annoyed by the white knight attitude of the cherry picking Hillary sheeple.

I'll take Hillary over Trump, but I can't pretend that Hillary is not a piece of **** herself. Look at who is funding her campaign so you can truly see what you're voting for. Look at what she has done and supported in the past. She's not worth defending.

This election is bringing the worst out of the voters. Ever seen that movie 'Idiocracy'?

I've lost friends because of the election.

I'm sorry to hear that man. My best friend and I grill each other over our strong disagreements on this election but I don't see it going that way (even though we go at it 10x more brutally than I give it to anyone here).

I don't really have a "best friend" these days, so anybody I come into contact with is just someone I'm in contact with. No loss really.

Hey Frowny, let's assume you are a member of congress for a minute. *snort* Your president and his chief of staff, secretary of defense, vice president, and attorney general advise you that Iraq and Saddam have nuclear weapons. They are a Muslim country and it's right after 9/11. Iraq and Saddam has hated the US ever since Desert Storm and are obviously a direct threat to the US.

You are asked to vote on whether or not we should go on the offensive to eliminate the threat.

Toss hindsight completely aside and consider that the US public is scared and want their elected officials to protect the country.

How would you vote? (again, no hindsight!!!)
