Just emailed my doctor and agreed to up my dosage from 50mg to 100mg. He wanted me to do it when I saw him a few weeks back - but being a DUDE'S DUDE, I told him I'd handle things on my own.
Ya, well that ain't working. If I start teywing el;ike thsia oovewr thes nexts fewsk eeks yousd'lll kno whiy. My birthday is May 30th. Back when I was really young I thought it was so cool that my elementary school shut down and let all the kids stay home in honor of me. Gave me a massive superiority complex that I've yet to fully shake many decades later. (back then the holiday was actually celebrating on the 30th instead of the closest Monday) |

On another note, my best wishes to you as well Chula. Hope things turn around for you, but try not to make such a target of yourself with Frown. Whatever else he may be (and he is many things) he ain't a poor shot, or someone who won't take the shot when it's there. I think once you understand that about him, he's a little easier to get on with. Maybe. |
So it is now officially a criminal investigation. The ties between Trump and Russia case.
|
Ja that describes me pretty well. I hate to let a shot go to waste, getting drunk is expensive.

The fact that they named a special prosecutor is HUGE!!!!! Turtle neck, who's the grand pubar in Washington right now, said it wouldn't happen less than a week ago. Remember all of this stuff folks. I watched Cronkite and Brinkley every night reporting when Watergate was going down. This is your Watergate to tell your kids about someday. |
Trump is going down one way or another at this point....but it bothers me that it looks like Comey technically lied under oath when he testified at the Senate hearing earlier this month that nobody above him in seniority or the Justice Department had ever tried to "halt" an FBI investigation "in his experience".

Too bad it's impossible to read the article.
Van Jones last night: "Tough Guy Trump is now President Snowflake":rofl::rofl: |

I remember first time I saw that, amazing. Thoughts on this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUE7nGPfaa4 |
Dude shouldn't've gotten up so fast, it's the same as choking yourself when you do that.

The media? I've not heard this theory yet, please elaborate.

New breaking bombshell: NY Times reporting that Trump told the two Russian officials in the oval office, "I just fired the FBI director. He was crazy, a real nut job. I was under great pressure over the Russian probe. This will ease that."
Things just moved a sh!tload closer to Obstruction of Justice. Didn't realize that whenever there's a meeting between international officials, a couple of note takers have to be present to memorialize the dialogue. The notes are considered official documents and are distributed to Washington officials. One of them leaked it to the NYT. Trump is dumber than dirt. |
They should've picked a better source for their leak tbh, although I guess higher quality publications aren't as keen on those sexy bombshell stories as NYT.
|
The New York Times has won 122 Pulitzer Prizes, far more than any other publication. What you on about Willis?
Robert Mueller, recently appointed special investigator into the Russian probe, spent 12 years as FBI director and by all accounts respects Comey, his successor. Calling Comey crazy and a nut job??? Not a wise move Donald. |
Take it case by case. Do you think this story qualifies for a Pulitzer?
Their rapid decline into partisan pandering only occurred in the past 5ish years anyway. Good article that kind of touches on that subject: http://www.cracked.com/blog/we-are-c...e-know-better/ |
Nut Job?
That's very offensive! |
Also if Muller being insulted about his buddy or his relationship with Comey affects the outcome of the case, he should be fired too because that's the exact opposite of how justice works.

Trump admits he fires Comey specifically because of the Russia probe. On a scale of 1 to 10, how's that sit on your justice scale? |

Sean Spicer released a statement where he didn't deny what Trump said at all. He can't. It's an official record at this point.
His spin is that it's all about Trump trying to build up relations with Russia, and that the leak itself is the big story. Obstruction of Justice is lurking around the corner. And now Trump is on this huge overseas junket and he's going to have to be dealing with reporters shouting out questions about Russia rather than what he wants the visit to be about. Numerous talking heads are saying there's going to be some very tense meetings behind closed doors with the officials he's meeting with over what's gone down the past 10 days and how much they can trust Trump and his administration. |

Hearsay =/= smoking gun
Like, ever. There's no reason to believe that it's true and equally no reason to believe that it isn't. I'm just so sick of the media breathlessly repeating things without verifying them just because it makes Trump or whoever they don't like look bad. |

I'm even more skeptical of the media than I am of Trump. You see far right conservative news sources using anonymous sources all the time, and they are rightfully discredited. Why should the NYT get a pass just because they're setting the agenda? They played a part in creating Trump...but the genie isn't going back in the bottle. Time to up your game MSM...

Why did Spicer not call the NYT's story "fake news"? How come he didn't deny it? Like I said, it's already an official record. The note takers aren't the leakers. It's once it's made official and circulated that someone in the Washington belt decides to hand it over. Everyone I've been listening to the past few hours agrees on this. On both sides. There's people within the administration covering their asses right now as not to be found complicit later down the road. No one in The White House wants to become part of the Trumpgate Seven. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watergate_Seven |

And the basics of linguistics But yeah if just one Manufacturing Consent. Maybe more important now than ever. Chomsky was dealing with a world that still valued honesty though. Not that they weren't liars but Trump supporters celebrate brazen and open dishonesty. It's a new paradigm. |

Comey and congress agree to a fully public testimony after a week of people thinking it was only going to happen behind closed doors.
This is going to be so much fun. :tramp::tramp::tramp::tramp: |
Its kinda hilarious that literally nothing Trump has done could be provably impeachable, improper legally or an act going beyond his available authority. Anonymous sources, anonymous insiders, non issues etc. One coming out after the other, dying a quick death, as if it's all pretty much hot air to make him look like he's genuinely acting like a complete tyrant.
But damn Donald, put out a cohesive message. Jesus. Give these guys an inch and they will travel round the world with it. |

Maybe you should spend less time invested in the news cycle? Look at what people have actually said and done. IRL.

The news cycle, when it comes to politics, influences a vast majority of the US voting public (and Wall Street). Not saying that's right or wrong. Just saying that's the way it is.
Trump only got elected because of the news cycle for crying out loud. Crooked Hillary. Lock her up. Personal server. Repeal and replace Obamacare. Make America great again. All part of a nightly news cycle during the leadup to the election. Trying to dismiss it, or ignore it is pretty naive when it comes to politics. Bringing Beiber into it? Sometimes you grasp so hard at straws to try and make a comeback it's beyond ridiculous. What's going to be the headline on most newspapers tomorrow - worldwide - and what's going to be the leading story on all of the morning news shows. What's going to completely distract Trump's middle east trip? Like it or not. It's the current reality. Again, the vast majority of Americans pay very close attention to the news. |
