I always thought it was okay to hate people for not believing in the same things as you. When did that become a social standard? When is society going to live up to that standard?

Remember when there were paramilitary, international groups that organized and inspired Jewish attacks on anti-Semitic countries and groups to an extent that caused thousands of deaths worldwide?

I like to think I'm not an Islamophobe, but the current situation with right wingers being prejudiced against muslims still does not parallel anti-Semitism.

I watched a talk with an Egyptian doctor and ex Jihadi where he makes that exact argument.
