I know it's speculation at this point.

But it's still a lot of people.
Hopefully the smoke prevented many of them from succumbing to the flames. I know that's a morbid thought, but the alternative is brutal. I just hope they find these people alive really.

Totally get what you mean. Burning alive has got to be one of the worst ways to go. Better to be dead or unconscious from the smoke before the fire gets you.

Yeah it makes sense. If I had to choose I would want the smoke to get me instead of the flames.

Suffocating still sounds like a **** way to go tbh. Try holding your breath for as long as you can and see if it's fun by the end.

The weather. I was out in the forest and found blueberries growing yesterday...it is the middle of november and there were none in the forest this summer because it was so dry. But I got my car now so no worries.

First morning with frozen puddles of water. I should buy a new jacket and winter boots before it really hits. Last winter was so cold I didn't have appropriate clothing for it.

Full blown winter storm here last night and continuing this morning. Most people stayed home from work, but not this kid.
