Meanwhile we shoveled our driveway 4 times last night and still had several inches to deal with this morning. The most painful part is the fact that our house is kind of on a rounded curve, and so when the snowplows come through they basically dump all of their **** right at the bottom of our driveway. I didn't measure or anything but I would bet there was 3 feet of snow/ice at the bottom of our driveway that I had to chip away at.

Tried to buy a snowblower over the weekend but everyone was sold out. It wouldn't have made a difference in this case though, but I'll definitely be more prepared next winter. Though this is definitely an anomaly, this is the first time we've had more than 10 inches of snow fall in one day since the early 1980's here in Fort Wayne IN
