DMBFFF: quit attaching large number of YouTube videos to your posts without,
at least, adding spoiler tags, otherwise we'll have to start referring to your username as "dumbfuck with a stutter." Thank you. Also, there are a large number of people who don't re-size their pictures to a reasonable forum size. There's nothing like opening a 'What Are You Listening To Right Now?" thread on an iPad - just to have a big-ass Mondo pic taking up so much room that it makes all of the other posts look like 2-point type. Remember, there are other people on the road. |

2. Am I suppose to GAF about tablet and phone users? Get your eyes back on the road and stop endangering peoples lives!! Now I got that out, would these "spoiler tags" help? Quote:
You gotta help me, Frownland: you and rostasi. "even better than the real thing." "You're dangerous, 'cause you're honest. You're dangerous, you don't know what you want." |
Click Go Advanced, then click the Show|Hide button, enter in the spoiler preview (you can just use a period or whatever) and put what you want spoilered in between the tags.
Spoiler for the result is like this:
Anyways, my fave PiL song: Just love how strung out it is, even compared to stuff like Albatross. Pop Tones is a contender too. |
A U2 fan, huh? I'm gonna have to find an even ****tier band than No Remorse if I'm gonna compete.

Write something and click "OK." It shows up like this: Spoiler for Udti Chidiya Udte Udte Phans Gai:
I'm more of a desktop guy myself, but I don't think that's what the majority are using. But it is a major annoying surprise when I do break out an iPad. Can't imagine what it looks like on a phone. |
Okay Frownland and rostasi, I'll give it a try, and if I'm even half-competent at it, I might edit my previous posts—might.
Thanks for your help. Quote:
This sounds like it's from the early 80s, maybe late 70s. Wasn't Jah Wobble doing bass? The Swans were also active during this time—or maybe a few years later. Btw, another "albatross" song I like a lot is Pink Floyd's Echoes. :D Yeah, punk sure did a number on those guys—it's not like they'd release a double album around 1979-1980, it becomes a hit, played a lot on FM radio, and gains a lot of pop references. Also, the moderate-size picture thing? It's kinda like wearing a hat in a courthouse. |
