I mean international opinion and domestic American opinions are equally as stupid and useless and cause democracy to be stupid and useless. When you see, read, or hear analysis of government policy it often interweaves purely pragmatic government decisions and government decisions based on public opinion as if one does not influence the other in nonsensical and schizophrenic ways because modern commentators are generally pro-democracy and pointing out that this spiral of nonsense is in fact nonsense would be admitting an existential problem with democracy.
