Modern politics is so strange.

New Band Name: Dropkick Babies.

Celtic, punk, and nursery rhymes, mixed together against a drone metal backing with DJ grooves.

How little would you have to know

I mostly just like to riff on posts I find particularly egregious

Things like facts that add a lot of nuance to the situation. You're not the constructive debater type either tbh.

So, are you establishing yourself as the expert in regard to debating skills? You got a diploma or sumpin?

Don't live up to Frowny's standards = bad debater.

Now I get it.

Idk ahout expert but I have a pretty good understanding of the conventions of logic, which means I can spot fallacies more easily, and those are the trademark of a bad debator.

How else would you determine that? Lobbyist endorsed opinions from 9 different CNN analysts? Wouldn't relying on that be a sort of standard in itself? Step off with your bitter self.

Nah, you just suck at inferring in that instance. See your emotive mess going on right here? That's why you're in the op.

For example, this is a strawman.

Joke's on you, you're my secret account.

I called him out on that as well, but he came back and backed with some numbers. Or maybe that was a different time, feel free to investigate MBtectives.

From where I'm sitting, in those instances, he's responding to your sweeping utopian statements of support for programs that can clearly be improved for reasons of both efficacy and fraud. Improving the system is not the same as abolishing it, and pointing out flaws is the first step in that direction and isn't the same as opposing it. Strawman out the ass with that come on.
