Yeah it was something about all his friends are white with an implication that there's a reason for it cause black people aren't worth being his friends.

Agreed. I don't think he entirely understands his feelings on race and of course how they interact with his feelings on class. He definitely sounds like a middle class white dick who probably doesn't like how black people sound dumb and aren't refined but isn't aware of this because he won't let himself be aware.
