I'm sure they're anticipating it with increased security, but I predict some...extralegal obstacles coming in the scotus selection.

So, OK, let's assume Handmaiden gets through the Senate without saying some insane **** that forces Romney to veto her. You don't think that's going to open a wormhole to open insurrection? The good math out there says this is going to push away the subruban republcians who feel like Ro is settled law.

Idk

I think but idrk that evangelicals actually read and suburbanites don’t read.

I don’t think there’s going to be much spoken word coverage of her Jesus weirdness that would alienate suburban conformists.

Not really sure though.

Also you need a high tolerance for the weird to vote for trump in the first place.

Well it helps that he's praised the Muslim genocides in Myanmar and China.

I also support Israel, India in Kashmir, Russia in Chechnya, and Slobodan Milošević in general.

Jesus. How far does this go?

Andrew Jackson on the Trail of Tears? Woodrow Wilson throwing black Americans out of their government jobs? And if both of these, I assume you back Trumps caged Latin American kids? The wall?

Kentucky’s only Black female legislator arrested on felony rioting charge at Breonna Taylor protest

Quote:

As the only Black female representative in the Kentucky Capitol, state Rep. Attica Scott (D) took action after the death of Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot by police raiding her home in March. In August, Scott proposed Breonna’s Law, a bill that would end no-knock warrants statewide. And when a grand jury decided not to indict the officers in Taylor’s death, Scott joined hundreds of protesters in the streets of Louisville.
On Thursday night, Louisville police arrested Scott along with a handful of other protesters near First Unitarian Church and the Louisville Free Public Library, which had allegedly been set on fire, according to a police report reviewed by WAVE. The state representative received a felony charge of first-degree rioting and two misdemeanors for failure to disperse and unlawful assembly, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported. The paper reported Scott was released from jail Friday morning.
Ah the good old first amendment! What freedom!
