I’m not saying your wrong. Especially when I’m only talking about “steps” in the right direction but I’m also thinking writing a book would be extraordinarily hard work and without the aptitude possibly very unrewarding as well. Actually I find writing poems to be very rewarding, and not as binding as the project of a whole book

My advice is to just give it a shot and see what you can come up with. It doesn't even have to be writing. Just having a creative outlet can help out a lot. Gives you something to focus on.
