Actually, I think there's been some good back and forth so far. Which comes first, enforcement of the rules, or the happiness of the community? Do you think a perma-ban should ever be lifted?

I would think the enforcement of the rules is done to improve the happiness of the community. At least that's how it worked at the forum where I was a mod.
