Agreed. I don't think the human race can ever truly evolve until the majority realize that nobody should ever hold power over anybody else, no exceptions, no compromise. Even parent/child power dynamics still program children to acquiesce to power dynamics in general.

It's not private property. It's a hierarchy that's existed I imagine for as long as humans have lived in groups and is probably as much instinctual as it is learned. We're living in a post-aristocracy atm that isn't about property. It's about the idea that there needs to be someone co-opting choice from individuals to perform group tasks or else chaos reigns. It retards humanity's ability to make decisions that don't in some way involve a master and then with circular logic proclaims itself relevant when humanity acts in the way it's always been conditioned.

It's a catch 22. Give power to someone who will protect the general population or someone will take power by force.

I thought all of you cynics understood that humans are crap like that.

Because people are so used to masters that when someone proclaims themselves master others listen when they should instead burn them at the stake and then go about their day.

This hierachy free model would require nearly everyone to agree that it's a good idea, which is a stretch. So there's gonna have to be someone to reinforce adherence to the model, lest it fall apart, but then we're back at square one.
