I'm listed as permanent vote-by-mail but I have never voted early, or by mail lol. I always walk it in to my polling place the day of so I get the instant gratification of the "I voted" sticker.

Edit: that said I can never actually wait until Christmas to open anything, but last year I made it until xmas eve lol

Well, I voted. I feel good to meh about the bigger tickets, wary for Minneapolis sheriff, and ecstatic about the school board seats and school funding motions I voted on.

Gonna listen to doom metal for the rest of the night in anticipation of failure. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised and we can tip America from the brink of a full-on fascist nightmare hellscape and go back to having boring political conversations.

Why do so many people like Hooded Menace? They just sound like a lame cartoon version of a good death doom band. Sort of like 99% of modern thrash.

Just listened to em for the first time right now. I enjoyed the novelty of takin death doom and making it sound pretty, but that’s just me. You got a better recommendation for me right now?
