Ideally both people should be on the same page prior to having sex, but it'd be dumb to think a one night stand has the power to thrust you into an obligation with out your input because it's her body. Also a double standard to think my choice ends when I *** as if it wasn't her choice to receive my ***. Either we both decide what happens if she's pregnant, or we both already decided when we ****ed. No double standard.

It's not an equality issue to me. It's a human rights issue. You don't get to have a say what happens to the body of another human being.

Not to mention that "without your input" is a funny wording since there was very much input happening.

When both parties agree to have sex, you agree to the responsibilites that come with that. If you're not mature enough to come to terms with that,you're not mature enough to have sex.

However, being that the woman does have to give up her body in a much more potentially damaging way, I think it's fair for them to be able to choose what they do with it. It's especially fair if she feels she wouldn't be a good mother. This doesn't exclude those that put it up for adoption. That's good too. But it's not so farfetchd to think that a women just isn't ready to put her body through that and what comes after.

I mean, really, what does our body go through as men that can even compare to what a women has to go through when it comes to pregnancy etc.

I'm not deciding what happens to her body, I'm deciding what happens to the unborn body. I'm not telling her she can't have a baby, just that she can't have my baby. It's also infringing on my human right to force me into an obligation I never wanted. To completely exclude the man in any decisions on what happens to what could be his child is blatantly sexist over an over simplification of the issue. Having a child is not getting a piercing or a tattoo or a surgery. It doesn't only affect her and her body. It's a very selfish way of looking at it.

I don't think the child should be born if both parents don't agree. I'm not talking about forcing a woman to have a child, I'm talking about having input on what happens to it.

When both parties have unprotected sex, that's one thing, but if a condom breaks or man gets raped or anything like that happens it's different.
