I'm as confident in predetermination as I am that god doesn't exist. Are you this pedantic about your own god belief?
Sounds to me like he's not arguing for or against, just the idea that it's proven.

Again, the god thing is a false analogy. We have much more evidence gathered against that belief while the evidence for or against free will is little to none especially when it's such an abstract concept that's almost incomprehensible.

Edit: Even with the idea of a god. We have evidence that our previous ideas of what a god is to be false, but an omnipotent being with a consciousness far beyond ours has to be something that we can't currently comprehend.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

If we're wired a certain way, is it possible to be wired to have the ability to choose between a set of standard responses to stimuli?
No. Whatever you choose would be what you always would’ve chosen. There’s no getting around cause and effect.

The lack of evidence proving there is a god.

Kind of, it is. Plus, evolution contradicts at least the Christian idea of god.

The Bible.

That's why I made the edit, we've proven that previous ideas of what a God is to be false, just not the more basic idea.

No, I'm fairly sure it was meant to be taken literal.

Other wise you could just say that god was a metaphor so they don't really believe in a god.

My step dad thinks homosexuals shouldn't be married, that it's sinful, wrong and that they should especially not raise kids because it's harmful to the development of the child. One day I should tell him how sinful divorce is, how harmful splitting parents up can be to a child and more so proof of how terrible of a parent he is with how every kid he's ever had a hand in raising turned out.

I did send him into an angry silence when I proved that Obama caused our job growth rather than Trump.
