Predetermination only requires evidence if you're coming from an emotional viewpoint influenced by religious concepts of both free will and predetermination. And yes it is either/or. Hmm. It's weird that even the neural scientists that conducted the studies say that they don't know if free will exists or not but it's good to know that you guys have the answer to a question that's a bit more abstract than you're giving credit for.
