it's not a failure to comprehend anything you are just more risk averse and less willing to take a chance than i am. and you're using that as a badge of honor cause you have nothing else to validate or provide meaning to your life other than to pat yourself on the back for being morally superior to someone who isn't even that virtuous to begin with.

"Yeah i'd have gone along with the nazis but i wouldn't work at the camps!" is batlord striving for greatness. The path of least resistance without doing anything courageous but also not doing anything extra bad. Congrats on that, boy scout.

No one is advocating for anyone else to NOT get the vaccine, I still don’t understand the outrage. I am not very likely to get it until there’s at least not an active shortage in my state ffs because 1) I am isolated where I live and work from home 4/5 days per week, 2) my work takes a ton of precautions in order to minimize risk, 3) I don’t go to the grocery stores because I’m lucky to have the option not to, etc etc the risk of me getting it is small and transferring it, even smaller, bc I don’t interact with more than a few people. Anyway all I said is that I don’t feel MY getting the vaccine is a priority or duty to anyone. Not to mention I got that supreme blood type. Simmer down.

By Christmas 2020 the cat was out of the ****ing bag. You have no better conception of what the actual risks were for my specific situation than I do, and you saying "millions of people acting like you made this problem..." is just you trying to indict me for the actions of millions of people I don't control for the sake of you posturing as some paragon of moral virtue.

Realistically, my behavior has 0 impact on the millions of others who acted similarly so even if I acted differently the results overall would've been virtually the same.

If my decision had some larger influence on the decision millions of others made, you would have an actual point. As it stands, you can accuse me of being a drop in the ocean that created the tidal wave. Which you yourself probably are as well if maybe to a slightly different extent.
