On a more serious note, it's cultural differences. You're considered old enough for consent in Spain at 13.
Society wouldn't see it as wrong for a 27 year old to bang a 14 year old.
Parts of Africa don't have a legal consent age and anything goes.
Are they wrong because they are culturally different to you? Do those african girls worry about shoes, boys and math tests?

The world does not begin and end with how conservatives in the United States view life.

Maybe you don't like the conservative views in the United States because of cultural differences.

Goofle 04-25-2014 01:25 PM

Smooth peanut butter > No peanut butter.

Black Francis 04-25-2014 01:26 PM

@Manky

you bring up a great point, in other cultures this isn't a big deal, to us this may be frowned upon because we were raised with these morals but other cultures don't see it that way.

What they choose to do when they find out the age of their object of desire is a totally different thing.

^ this.

i honestly wish more females thought like you, all Men aren't scum because we are attracted to the female body, that might catch our eye but it doesn't mean we'll pursue any action.
i personally don't give a f*ck how hot a girl is if i don't like her personality or respect her
and a 14 yr old girl doesn't stimulate my brain in anyway, just thinking about being in a relationship with one feels icky, idk how some guys like that.

Smooth peanut butter > no peanut butter > death on a cracker > crunchy peanut butter.

But there's another thread for this. With full acceptance of the fact that I'm the one who went off topic.

they're a minority, especially at that age, not every gay girl has fully realized and come to terms with their sexuality.
If we're nitpicking though, I didn't mention transgender girls, nor did I mention gender neutral girls nor those that are asexual nor those who are arranged to be married through religion nor a plethora of other minority groups.

But yaay...we've acknowledged them, and you've done more to further my point about cultural differences and how all 16 year old girls don't fixate over 'boys, shoes, homework, etc' as LadyisLingering seems to think.

EDIT: Soz for dat Double post guys.

Maybe it's just super low standards; I don't know. Either way, gross. Little girls shouldn't be fetishized. Ever.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read. You are so closed-minded and are completely ignoring the fact that it's entirely evolutionary/phsyiological. No, I do not have even a single modicum of interest in engaging in sexual contact with anyone under the age of 18. Yes, I will admit that there are fully developed 16 year old girls out there that are attractive. No, I do not pursue them and I never will. This is not a fucking fetish, my god that sounds so stupid to even suggest.

YD: Brother this is coming from a place of love.

Man, you should look into the usage of "I feel" statements. I watch you argue, and sometimes the arguments are sane and founded, but over shadowed by the accusatory statements you make. I feel like they make you sound like an imature self righteous prick. And that's a shame cause some of your points would be better recived if your delivery was better.

Just a helpful hint.

Just in case anyone wanted an interlude to your wonderful debate about whether finding young women attractive makes you a revolting person:

If any of you find yourself caring about what my opinion of you is then I recommend spending a weekend in a spa, re-evaluating your life and your goals

Goofle – Quality funny dude with a good taste in music and TV

Mrs Robinson – Hot cougar with fabulous advising skills

Sansa – Hot but also terrifying, but I like that she likes that I like MMMBop

Neo – Awesome and a lot of fun to plug with

DJ - I like him and the stuff that he plays in plug that isn’t rap, although I don’t approve of his limiting the playing of Rebecca Black to certain days of the week

Vanilla – despite my first interaction with her being her assuming I was a troll, this did not prevent me from falling slightly in love with her niceness and cute accent

Paul Smeenus – Although I am relatively sure that he finds me irritating, he plays good stuff in plug and is wonderfully witty. But his peanut butter discrimination is offensive

Batlord – Does not make enough jokes anymore, but will always have his place in my sig

Black Francis – his complaining about not being accepted and not being noticed in the forum is not doing him any favours, but I’m sure he’s a nice guy. No idea what his musical taste is as I’ve never seen him in plug and that is where I tend to do all my musical discussion (so I don't do it on the forum, sue me)

Briks – I wish he was more controversial and blunt about his non musical opinions as I’m not sure what any of them are. Good journal.

Trollheart – His devotion to the journal section is admirable, his taking everything too personally is not. His avatar makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside my cold dead heart.

Carpe – sometimes seems like she is constantly taking the side of the underdog in arguments simply because she likes the feeling of persecution. But then some people are into that kind of thing. Not saying that it’s her sexual fetish, just saying that if it was, I wouldn’t judge

YorkeDaddy – Doesn’t get into enough arguments

Christian benteke – Thank you for making me feel welcome when I occasionally post in the Football thread, even though you can probably tell I know very little about football

216 – I like(d) his taste in music and his personality when he was being normal (in plug) rather than the act he does/did when he posts on the actual forum

Whatever Dude – Still remains the guy I aspire to be like, effortlessly cool

No worries Tristesse. I'd like it if more people posted in there really cos it can get quiet so it's enjoyable when others other than the usual posters decide to contribute.

Carpe Mortem 04-25-2014 04:08 PM

Tristesse, the day will come where you're in the minority about something and appreciate my whimsical siding with the least popular view. I won't actually give a **** either way but dammit I'll fight for you because I'm bored and its more difficult than being popular! Screw having an opinion, argument for the sake of argument! Puts hair on your chest and XP on your brain!
