Don't worry, he's coming back on June 1st!

I think people can be unnecessarily nasty to each other on here. I haven't been here that long really, but that is one thing that I noticed. I dunno if it a clash of personalities or egos but it isn't nice to see, especially through the eyes of a newbie.

Still was a little surprised to find out he cross dresses, but everyone to their own I guess.
Hey man, I love your taste as well. Especially when we share a love for Alesana.

Thanks mate

PoorOldPo : Sweet guy, comes across as a bit naive. I suspect he probably smokes more pot than what's good for him, but at least his brain on drugs makes for some interesting posts. I always mentally append an extra "o" to the end of his username though .. Welcome to the site, Po. Stick around

I've seen that on every forum I've ever posted on, though. It's really no different than putting a group of people together in a room and then expecting everyone to get along with everybody else. However, this IS the Internet, and people are masked by a computer screen. It's easier to say something nasty about someone when you're not saying it directly to their face, but rather through text.

I post on two large music forums and, although I don't consider MB to be very bad, it is definetly the more savage of the two!

Trust me, MB is one of the tamest forums I've ever been on, personally. Or maybe I've just associated with a lot of bitchy, easily butthurt people in all my years of Internet forum use.

I've been a regular forum userfor about 10 years now so I've seen forums in both ends of the spectrum. The "best" forums I've been a member of have been the ones that are efficiently moderated. The friendliest overall that I can remember was actually the forums for the Norwegian MMORPG Anarchy Online which I frequented many years ago. Of course, they had paid moderators.

Of the 8 forums I've posted significantly on, MB is easily one of the top 3 most civil.

The last forum I posted on was mainly Scottish members and everyone knew which areas each other stayed in. Needless to say that resulted in threatening behaviour.
