Love-Song:

I both fear and respect Love-Song's presence. I already know that when I go into a thread with the most recent post by this member, it will be a love song, followed by italicized lyrics.

I don't know anything else about him/her. He/she is quite the enigma, but is apparently in love with love. And love songs.

Don't quite understand his/her motivation fully, particularly since they seem to post these songs consistently without ever actually interacting with other forum members...and are a fairly longstanding member.

There are two others like that.

Derek that posts in the Electronica forums but at least he has spoken from time to time in the past.

Chard is another one and he only posts in his song writing thread. He has also interacted with members in the past but doesn't anymore and I think he just uses his song writing thread as a storage area for the songs that he writes and doesn't care about feedback at all what so ever.

Jack Pat
Occulthawk
dankrsta
Duga
Zero1984
Burning Down

I don't really participate in discussion outside of music here, with exception to the odd thread, so these are the people that, to me, are the members with the most active and insightful musical input on the site, who's opinions I respect a lot.

And I'm sorry if I got your names wrong guys, That list is off the top of my head
Happy to know that somebody reads my posts!

Ever since I've come back to posting here I've figured Dirty, and Crukster to be pretty cool guys who weren't around when I used to be. Jack Pat and Il Duce seem pretty cool although I haven't really talked to them much.

It's cool to see Conan as a mod.

+81, Terrible Lizard, and Lateralus where all posters I could remember as being cool that don't seem to be around much anymore.

I'm not a fan of The Virgin although I don't want him banned. he's kind of entertaining

They shouldn't have changed the brilliant way this thread worked.
It was really a good idea... I keep saying that.

It's been a while since I did one of these, so there are new people to write about.

Burning Down
I have realised lately that I don't know a lot about the kind of person Burning Down is in real life. I don't even really have an idea of what she MAY be like in real life. I don't know whether thats because she keeps that kind of thing to herself, or I simply haven't paid enough attention. As for the impression I get of her, the way she is on MB, it is very positive. She seems very level-headed, fair, and friendly.
I would say that when it comes to the majority of members here, I really couldn't care less about getting to know them any better. I would however like to get to know Burning Down better, as she seems she would be a nice person.

dankrsta
I really wanted to see dankrsta modded, and was happy to learn that others felt the same way. Like Burning Down, she either seems quite a private person or I just haven't paid enough attention to the information she has shared here. I look forward to getting to know dankrsta better with time too. Seems to have a very diverse taste in music, and I always made a connection between her and bob when it came to music taste. How similar they actually are I don't actually know, but they always seemed to be digging each others music.
Seems to be a very genuine person, and was certainly a fair, friendly addition to the mod team.

s_k
I have a theory. s_k is infact a serial killer in real life. The only way it is possible for someone to be SO nice, is if they are lying about it. You and Vegangelica should talk more, if you don't already.

Zero1986
You get to learn about peoples music tastes quickly here for the most part, I feel, and you judge how close to your own they are. Everybody does it. Zero's is quite similar to mine in a lot of ways. I would imagine that he is one of "those" Irish blokes I have run into time and time again over there who I end up drinking Guinness with and talking about music, probably until they break into a rendition of Dirty Old Town and pass out, without even fully recalling how it even got started.

Pedestrian
Only just got round to reading through her journal, and found it to be very impressive. Always someone I enjoy seeing logged in and posting around the boards, or in the shoutbox. Definitely one of our better additions in 2010.

Raust
I know nothing about Raust. I don't know his name and without going and checking his profile I don't know where he's from. However I do tend to stop and read his posts, even when skimming a thread, as he is usually talking about a band or an album I like. This forum is not exactly overflowing with stoner rock and doom fans, so I watch him and RezZ carefully to see if they are listening to anything I haven't heard of.

CanwllCorfe
I should actually get around to downloading more of the albums he posts about. I often put them on a "to-do" list, but that list just gets longer and longer and impossible to manage. However there have been albums I have spontaneously grabbed here and there, and later realised I had read a post of his about it weeks or months previously. I do enjoy his reviews and his writing a lot.

Moonlitsunshine
Much like Raust, I don't think I know much about this guy. I'm not even sure on his location even though I assume he has it listed, and so I have seen it countless times. I want to say Ireland? I don't know much about his music taste either, now I come to think about it. I tend to see him hanging around Lounge threads mainly. However he seems capable of writing posts that are worth the time it takes for me to read them. Seems good at presenting a fair, intelligent argument or opinion without resorting to trolling or flaming. I like that.

I have still missed some people out so will have to do another sometime. There are also some people I wanted to mention but decided to hold off until I know a little more about them.

Awwww thanks Mojo. My online persona is basically my real life persona. Of course there's aspects to my life that I like to keep to myself, but I am sort of a private person. I think if I was a celebrity I'd have a house and such thousands of miles away from Hollywood and in the bushes somewhere to minimize the chance of paparazzi finding me Also, my IM should be up and running again once classes are done in about a week or so.
