Anyone on here as obsessed with it as I am?? I've been into it since around 2000. It's kinda hard to talk to anyone about it cause I live in a tiny town so if I ever mention it, someone always responds yeah!! I used to just be into uplifting like Andy Blueman, Aly & Fila, and Sean Tyas but eventually I starting liking tech. I also enjoy hardstyle, but only the most aggressive stuff like B-Front and DJ Rob, **** nu style Just some artists to check out if you are interested in it, but don't have any resources like I did when I first got into it

I like Trance but find myself bored by it within half an hour. I personally like Armin Van Buuren and Sander Kleinenberg mixes. Ferry Corsten has done a few mixes that I like.

Ahh if you like Armin van Buuren and Sander Kleinenberg then you are more into progressive house which is Trance's closest relative. I'm picky with it because it can get boring, I try to find the more beautiful and melodic tracks. Ferry Corsten is trance but lately has been delving into electro-ish stuff. His song Brainbox sounds almost like something Mr.Oizo would make.

Prefer psytrance. 1200 Micrograms type music. Now that takes talent.

all music takes talent, it's just a matter of whether you like it or not. I looked them up on Discogs and I guess they're really into drugs aren't they.

yeah that's how I used to be too. Rock and metal were my main things, and trance was my calm down music. Then it switched and now trance is my main music and rock/metal is just for when i'm in the mood for it. Although I pretty much always am, I'm quite selective.

I'm not really into Trance at all except some of the early 90s stuff (released on labels like Eye-Q, Harthouse, etc.), but I don't really mind Progressive House every now and then. I'm a big fan of Digweed's Transitions series, and I saw a James Zabiela set last year that I enjoyed (although it was a bit cheesy for my tastes).

I also like most of the stuff Kompakt Records releases, in recent years it seems to be getting pretty close to straight up Progressive House with guys like Boratto, etc.
