old thread! I got their first album early summer and thought it was great! Not to be taken too seriously, but fun and very musical.

Their new album is my favorite of the year so far... i only listen to half the album anymore, but still great stuff!

I finally saw them (with the Presets opening) live a few weeks ago. Kind of disappointing.

Heard their remix of Scissor Sisters' Take Your Mama, wasn't too impressed to be honest. Their solo stuff is better?

considering hot chip are only a gazillion&two times better than scissor sisters, yes.
get the warning. it is love.
i got coming on strong for christmas, but things have been too alcoholic to listen to it yett.

their remixes are mostly pretty bland... check out their myspace.. that should give ya good idea of them

Hot Chip are cool, well from what few songs I have heard. I am currently downloading both their albums.

Oh, and whoever mentioned the Presets, they're le cool.

These guys keep blowing me away! They are rather awesome. I actually like their videos as well...

Going to see them at the Somerset House in London soon! SO excited!

The only song I know really well is Over And Over. I don't know why I haven't properly given them a chance because that song was one of my favourites of 2006.

Anyone heard their new album yet? I'm just starting it right now. I kind of put it off since I was A. disappointed that "My Piano" wasn't on it and B. disappointed in "Shake It Fist," because it sucked.
