1. What were your VERY FIRST impressions on listening to the album, say from the first five minutes in (first time)?

I didn't know what to expect. After the first song I remember having a big grin on my face as it reminded me of my childhood nights up alone at 01:00 in the living room watching Space Ghost Coast to Coast on [Adult Swim]. Nostalgia hit, I ryke et.

2. Did your first impressions change, i.e., did the album get better or worse as you listened to it (first time)?

It got better a bit. Not really into the old vibe but it was interesting and kept me tuned in.

3. Which was stronger in your opinion, the opening tracks (first 2-3 songs), or the ending tracks (last 2-3 songs)?

I really couldn't pick.

4. On repeated listens (if you did so), did you find you liked the album more, or less? Feel free to be very detailed if you like.

I definitely dug it more on my second spin. I guess I got to appreciate the sounds a bit more.

5. What is your favorite track from the album, if you have one?

"Soul City," "Moog Indigo," "18th Century Puppet" and "Hello Dolly."

6. What is your least favorite track from the album, if you have one?

"Flight of the Bumblebee."

Nu.

8. How would you describe the variety of tracks available on this album? Feel free to be very detailed if you like.

There's a bit of variety. All the songs share the same laid back, stoner vibe IMO.

9. What is the overall mood on this album?

Laid back.

10. Is this an album you would listen to again all the way through (for personal, recreational use, outside of listening to it for this club), or are there just a few songs that you would listen to?

Sure. Didn't dig the bumblebee song so I'd skip that.

Wouldn't know.

Nah, it's solid already. But if someone remastered or even remixed this whole album. Holy ****. Would prolly sound awesome if it was flipped by a well-known Glitch-Hop artist as it already has groovy, funky vibes to it.

14. Would you recommend this album to others?

Yep. Don't know who I'd recc. It to though.

15. Are you interested in listening to more albums by this band?

Sure, if it's like this album.

Dubstep.

19. What do you think of the production?

Awesome! Everything is solid from drums, guitar riffs, synth patterns... My favourite song with dope production would be, "The Elephant Never Forgets." It's amazing the little FX he put into each song like the little scratches (?) and transitions from each section of a song. Just amazing.

20. Any other thoughts you had about this album you would like to share?

Really enjoyed this album. Especially the production, on point. Frickin' awesome for the 70's! Thanks, Briks!

I didn't really get much of an impression. It just seemed like I needed to listen to more before forming anything.

2. Did your first impressions change, i.e., did the album get better or worse as you listened to it (first time)?
Am having trouble really getting into it. Something about it seems really empty, but I like the effort it made with the quirky tunes.

3. Which was stronger in your opinion, the opening tracks (first 2-3 songs), or the ending tracks (last 2-3 songs)?
Last 2-3 songs left more of an impression on me then the entire album.

No, on second listen I kinda got a headache from it. But perhaps I wasn't in the mood.

5. What is your favorite track from the album, if you have one?
None of the tracks really resonated with me. But the first track Soul City is pretty catchy and groovy.

Dunno, all the tracks seems pretty solid for the album.

No.

I don't really think this album had much variety. It just followed the same line of bright sounds. Once it felt like I was in a cartoon, the other felt like I was on some outback adventure, then a circus, and somehow I ended up at a line-dancing party somewhere.

The mood seem pretty high, happy.

Probably not.
