Anyway, I tried listening to this album, and I wasn't a fan of it. At ALL. Like I can't even finish it. I'll answer what I can though

Questions

1. What were your VERY FIRST impressions on listening to the album, say from the first five minutes in (first time)?

I didn't like all the lyrics. I guess I'm a guy that prefers ambient stuff. I liked the first track though, but then once the second track rolled around I saw the album wasn't going to change much.

2. Did your first impressions change, i.e., did the album get better or worse as you listened to it (first time)?

They got worse, much worse.

11. How well do you already know the band/artist?

Never heard of the artist before.

15. Are you interested in listening to more albums by this band?

Can't say that I am if they are similar to this.

16. What sub-genre, if any, would you assign this music to?

Pop electronic? Indie rock electronic? Those are what it sounded like to me.

17. (NOTE: Ignore this question if the album does not have lyrics.) Did you like the vocalist? Hate him/her? Any impressions?

She was fine, I just don't really want that much singing on an electronic album.

18. Your overall album rating on a scale of 1-10?

Maybe it's best if we just move on to the next person/album. Maybe a few days of this thread being active will encourage people to come back.

*sigh* so is this thread dead? Look as far as I'm concerned, the first person who wants to throw out an album we can review. I would pick an album myself but I'm not sure what to pick.

I'm not a member here, not a huge fan of electronica, but I hate to see someone's hard work go to waste, so if you want I'll suggest this

and join on a trial basis?

Trollheart I must ask how it is you are familiar with this artist. Surely this can't be something that you legitimately like!? This sounds like much more mellow Godflesh..

anyway, yeah this album could work...

EDIT: also I don't want you to feel burned, you do have metal month to do after all..
