Music Puzzle I can't figure out - Help! :P (Kurt Cobain)

There's this puzzle that I've been trying to figure out for the past couple of hours, but no luck. Is there anyone here that can solve this. It would be greatly appreciated. =D

Catagory:
music
"_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _"

Letters:
_ _ _t _ _b_ _ n
Clue:
"state of"

There might be a possible space between the first two blanks...

XD, actually. This is a really great music forum. The previous one I was only was kind of....Dead >.<...

I do plan to stay around, but right now. This puzzle is eating my brain out!! Haha, :P.
